A language laboratory is a dedicated space for foreign language learning where students access audio or audio-visual materials. A language laboratory can transform a passive language class into an active speaking-based learning environment.

The Language Laboratory of the Department of English comprises of 10 (ten) computers. It is equipped with ‘Sanako Study 1200’ (Sanako Language Lab) software. It has been functional since 2012 and is used to teach linguistics to English Major Students and Spoken English to General students. It is in operation under the supervision of trained contractual faculty. A Sixmonth certificate course on ‘Spoken English and Personality Development’ is offered by the college under the mentorship of the language laboratory.
