In India Today survey of best colleges in India, 2021, ADP College was judged as 151st best college in Science stream. Total 42,443 number of colleges were surveyed.

A Covid Care Centre was opened in the college premises in May, 2021. ADP College is the only college in Assam to give space for CCC.

ADP College has been recognised as a Social Entrepreneurship, Swachhta & Rural Engagement Cells (SES REC) institution by Ministry of Education, Government of India.

Two students of ADP College, Anuj Sankar Devnath and Gorakha Jyoti Nath Pandit got prizes in Quiz Competition organized by National Health Mission and Govt of Assam. Their positions were 8th and 12th in the entire state.

ADP College has created own online classroom, integrated with this website. Students can directly access class-notes uploaded by our faculty members in this online classroom. Two links have been created in home page as 'Class Notes' and 'Class Videos'.

ADP College has contributed Rs. 2,46,950 to Assam Arogya Nidhi (one day salary from principal, teaching and non-teaching staff) for fighting the Covid 19 pandemic.

Herbal Science and Technology department of ADP College launched two varieties of hand sanitizers on 20th March, 2020 in the wake of Corona virus pandemic. One of them is herbal and the other is chemical, prepared as per WHO guideline. At present it is for use by the college fraternity only.

The Laboratory of the Chemistry department of ADP College has been recognised as a PhD Laboratory by Gauhati University in the Research Council meeting of on 26/10/2019 and approved by Executive Council on 19/11/2019.

Our students, AHIYA KHAN of 4th Sem won GOLD and ARIF HUSSAIN MIR of 2nd Sem won BRONZ medal in Gauhati University Inter College Boxing Competition, 2020.

ADP College has been declared as STAR College by the Government of INDIA.The department of Botany,Zoology,Physics and Chemistry will be benefited.

India Today and Marketing and Development Research Associates (MDRA) surveyed 10,000 colleges of India between November 2018 and April 2019 on parameters framed by experts. Among them 1,207 were shortlisted. The final selections of institutions of excellence have been made public. The Science stream features 120 colleges in India, while Arts stream features 119 colleges. Our institution, Anandaram Dhekial Phookan College features 115th in Science and 109th in Arts stream all over India.

Jiban Narah's poem has been included in '100 more great Indian poems', an anthology of poems published in last 3000 years in entire India compiled by Abhay Kumar

Bikash Chetia of ADP College won Silver Medal in 74 kg and 77 kg weight lifting categories in Gauhati University Inter College Sports Competition held in Rangapara College on 30 Jan 2019
