The Hospital Administration course of Community College started its general functioning from the month of August, 2015. The main vision of this course is to be a premier program developing healthcare leaders and administrators prepared to address the challenges of the changing healthcare environment. The mission of this course is to prepare the students to improve the public’s health by managing healthcare organizations. Further mission is to provide qualified and motivated students with knowledge, skills and abilities that enable them to become health service administrators. With a large number of health care organizations coming up in the region and a vast number of vacancies in the National Health Mission, this course will enable the students to apply for these jobs and thereby minimize unemployment issues. The main advantage of this course is that the students will be transformed into professionals and successful leaders after completion of the course.

The duration of this course is of one year with two semesters and one month project. This course has subjects related to the healthcare sector and general management. The present intake capacity is 50. This course is presently running under the UGC scheme. The students enrolled in this course are given scholarship by the UGC. The classrooms are well equipped with interactive boards, wifi, etc. All modern methods of teaching are being adopted for the students. Classes are basically delivered through PPTs. Other activities such as group discussions, case studies, presentations, Role play, etc are done on regular basis.
