The college has advanced a lot in research activity. More than ten faculty members obtained Ph.D. degree during last ten years. Till now 386 publications have been brought out by the faculty. 21 faculty members are now pursuing Ph.D. programme in various universities. The college sends its faculty members on FDP leave so that they can pursue research works without any hitch.
Fifteen Major and Minor research projects were either completed or were ongoing during last four years. A committee has been set up to promote and guide research activities among the teachers. The committee screens the proposals sought to be sent to UGC and other sponsoring bodies. It promotes research culture among the faculty members. The college has successfully received financial grants for three major projects and twelve minor projects
